Expect more! I have to admit, I am an NPR nerd. I was listening to my local station yesterday and came across this amazing story about a local pharmacy in St. Louis, called GreaterHealth Pharmacy & Wellness. They are a "radically inclusive" pharmacy that builds trust with their patients by truly understanding their patients' needs. My mom was a retail pharmacist for over 40 years. I know, from the way in which she touched people's lives, how having a pharmacist you can trust improves health outcomes. The care team at GreaterHealth goes the extra step in understanding their patients and their environments. They are a pharmacy that actually tries to get people off medications. Amazing! Goes to show quality care is local.
